送杜少府之任蜀州 – 王勃
城阙辅三秦,风烟望五津。
与君离别意,同是宦游人。
海内存知己,天涯若比邻。
无为在歧路,儿女共沾巾。
Seeing Off Prefect Du by Wang Bo
The walled city is girt by Qin lands three;
Through clouds those five piers our mind’s eye can see.
As the same roving courtiers we are,
Alas, my dear chum, thou wilt part with me.
Within four seas, many soul mates remain,
Though apart, nigh as neighbours we shall be.
And at this parting pavilion, alack,
No tears-drenched sleeves shall sadden me and thee.
V2.
The royal city, girt by Qin lands three,
Through clouds, those five ferries afar it can see.
As the same roving courtiers we are,
Alas, dear chum, thou art parting with me.
Within four seas, soul mates ever remain;
Though apart, nigh as neighbours we shall be.
And at this parting pavilion, alack,
No tears shall sadden further me and thee.
