A Verse by Zhu Dunru (Soong Dynasty)
Quaff after quaff, day after day,
Morn in, morn out, midst blooms abloom.
I sing, I dance, I laugh aloud,
Limbs-free, mind-free, my voice free.
On how many golden dreams could life prey?
How many rare minds did gloomily doom?
Why winge, why whine, why wait for storm cloud?
O, just enjoy what today proffers me!
