When you hope for
the softness and the tenderness
in return
by your recipient
thorns returned instead


Rose

Why should you trim off your thorns
to be presentable
instead of being a happy thorned rose
as you always are 


Dedication

What you didn't ask
for any return
rendered a broken heart
You simply put them together
back into an artistic rose
and it blooms without a regret
in a future garden
with some memory soil
