What should I say to myself
when it is time to become ashes
Goodbye seems too odd to myself
but what else wouldn't I let go
It has been a wonderful life
rich enough to be adequate
nice enough to have a happy life
It might still be possible to play golf
in the cloud or beyond
since every shot will be accurate enough to be in the hole
i.e. the black-hole will suck them anyway
Don't even need the clubs anymore
I could just wish the swing of it
Perhaps the real soul mate
could show up on her own
to face me directly in another world
continue our normal dialogue
of life used to be
and the life ahead
