A Loud Laugh by the Blue Brine - Authored by James Huang (HK)
The blue brine laughs with a roar,
The surging tides striking either shore.
Rising and falling, tidal waves galore,
In memories, evermore.
The vast sky cracks a guffaw,
Hence, surging many an outlaw.
Who will win or lose, O let heaven draw,
Let’s keep the spirit of awe.
The hills and rills loud laugh out,
Shattering rains and clouds all about.
How many a mortal lout
knows waves wash away many a trout?
The breeze rises with a smile,
Stirring up a forlorn sense awhile.
Yet there remains a pride-veiled profile
In twilight that spreads many a mile.
The world starts to chortle,
Dispelling loneliness that’s so mortal.
Noble chortle, ever a vibrant portal,
For all light hearts immortal!
