心急如燃為憫人，忍看地獄火中身，

鬼無熱淚只旁立，君有同悲願共焚。

哭訴焉知年歲久？道言常說主恩真！

而今何故新歸客，卻教神王學大仁？

O Thou who burn'st in Heart for those who burn

In Hell, whose fires thyself shall feed in turn,

How long be crying, 'Mercy on them, God!'

Why, who art Thou to teach, and He to learn?
