Usually I disagree with the idea 5 countries can veto the will of a
majority..But in this case I say bravo to china and russia because you
can't be fooled forever by the same warmonger that uses the UN for its own agenda...Peace between Palestine and israel would have been
reached for years should the US stopped from vetoing all resolutions
against israel...
The last resolution against Libya was supposed to create a no fly zone, not to provide a massive air support to the rebels... less

The US and the other countries have a lot of nerve complaining about China and Russia saying no to sanctions for Syria. China and Russia are merely following in the footsteps of the US in that their countries are making a lot of money from Syria. I know that the US and other countries are saying their proposal of sanctions are for humanitarian reasons, but that's just another one of those convenient lies. All the years that we've been benefiting from trade with these dictatorships, our countries haven't said beans about the way the Syrian people have been treated by their governments. Everything, and you can't get away from it, is about money. less

Obviously, China and Russia didn’t want the U.N. to
intervene even though the people of Libya and Syria were/are being massacred by
the despots Gaddafy and Al-Assad because they (China and Russian governments) too
are ruling their respective countries in despot-like dictatorial manner. BECAUSE they too would not want the free
world to intervene as they dictate, impose and do whatever they want to their
own people.
