A bad-tempered dog
The tale is quaint and fun,
A basin cloaked in fog,
There dwells a foolish dog,
Who seldom sees the sun.
At times the fog will clear,
But logic seems obscure,
He finds no solace, sure,
His heart is filled with fear.
He barks at sun and men,
As if with reason then,
Yet in his mind confused,
His actions oft bemused.
