好像因为植根于同一种文化的土壤,我感觉咱们这代人若有人有机会接触到美国乡村音乐的时候,许多人对其的喜爱都会集中表现在对一些曲风和格调大致相同的歌曲上面。
这里面最为首当其冲的可能就数这首Country Roads take me Home 了,其他的,这上下我想得起来的还有下面几首:

上面提到的这几首老歌都是我已经喜欢了很久的此类歌曲,但是在提到它们之后我需要把《橡树上的黄丝带》专门提出来说一下。
在那个年月里,我指的是令人难忘的上个八十年代,当我初次听到这首黄丝带和歌中蕴含的传说故事时,我曾被感动得流下热泪。
人性中的真善美,这最为重要的部分,在我们的个案而言,从来就不是一个自然发育自然生长的过程。这种精神上的启蒙和逐渐的成熟,被简单极端的教育和连续不断的政治运动以及乖张桀骜的命运之手拉扯得七零八落,其成熟生长的速度远远滞后于我们的生理发育。这是一个令人深感遗憾的事实。
不过,生命的河水一直在流。
在这样一个畸形的不同步与失衡中,我们终于还是走进了上个世纪的八十年代。
那真是一段令人难忘的十年八年,是我们生命中最充满激动人心含义的一个阶段和驿站。《系在橡树上的黄丝带》让我明白阶级之爱在面对人性之爱时显露出来的丑陋不堪和粗糙简单。
丰富、多情、坚贞、忠诚等等概念和这概念蕴含的力量,深深地攫取了我心我情。
对文革中曾经大量地发生在亲人与亲人之间、同事与同事之间和朋友与朋友之间的揭发批判和划清界限,我要到了那个时候才觉出了它们的丑陋。

至于你提到的另外喜欢的两首歌,我不能确知你的所指,但我却有两段与Green Grass和Sailing相关的记忆。
前一个我记得是出现在一个电影中,片名忘记了,剧情忘记了,只记得剧中女主人翁死去以后,她的爱人在一个清晨来到了她的幕前。
芳草萋萋,清风习习。旁白开始了朗诵一首诗歌。全篇自然是记不得了,就记得深情的男子抚摸着爱人的墓碑说到:…… The long green grass will be yours, and yours, and yours. 这句话在三、四段诗词的结尾处反复出现,给我留下深刻印象。有了互联网以后我曾在网上找过这首诗歌并希望能够发现这部影片。却终无功而返。
而那Sailing ,在我的记忆中却是一首歌中这样的几句歌词:

有家可归的旗帜:《幸福的黄手帕》
——经典回眸《幸福的黄手帕》
这部《幸福的黄手帕》是一个关于家与回家的平常故事。上个世纪六七十年代著名导演山田洋次讲述的一个只有三位小物的平常故事。电影内容丰富,故事画面讲究。岛勇作由日本天皇级巨星高仓健扮演,岛光枝由日本巨星倍赏千惠子扮演,小川株美由桃井朝子扮演,花田钦也由喜剧明星武田铁矢扮演。渡边警司由大名鼎鼎的渥美清客串。可以称作阵容豪华了。除了山田洋次能够组搭起来这样的电影拍摄班子,不记得能有哪一位导演可以拥有这样的威望值。
山田洋次的影片从来不脱泥带水,开片转换五六场景,由喜剧演员武田铁矢一次失恋引起故事,快速轨入情节发生地北海道。为的是带出片中最重人物高苍健出场。而高苍健扮饰的岛勇作的亮相,又专意为了托出倍赏千惠子上台。我们大约知道,世界的国际影坛的六七八十年代是女性光环的主光场所,特别是在东瀛银幕愈发如此。山田洋次执导们另外一部举世大片《远山的呼唤》更加说明问题。
六七八十年代日本银幕应当是岛国电影的黄金时代,具体说起来,这个黄金时代的重因与几位天王级的电影女明星不能分开。比如倍赏千惠子,比如吉永小百合,比如山口百惠,又比如等等。在这班超级女星面前,高苍健、宇津井健、三浦友和、三国连太郎他们,仅仅只是作为电影银幕画面的表衬出现。据银幕的实际观情来看,吉永小百合、山口百惠她们红遍了世界影坛却也从来基本不演脱裸戏的。
有史可查,本岛女星中规中距,于是今天才有了演艺伎人等的戏请大陆演员出场的玩意儿。现在看来,那艺伎的东西倒底能不能算得上属于门派正宗的艺术,还是有待怀疑的。有专门研究者指道,艺伎充其量与东瀛堂会相提并论。看过陈凯歌执筒的《霸王别姬》就一目了然,私房的堂会能算得上是戏类艺术吗?再说了,随手一翻那本洋人阿瑟•高顿写作的《一个艺妓的回忆》,惊艳白描随处可见。我们是不是可以认为,几乎稍有一点自尊心的女同志,面对那些张色书笔,也会不好意思许多的。噢对了,《一个艺妓的回忆》的25节把艺妓称为白领的说法,我一直不能明白。
这里关于艺妓说的多了。还是回到影片《幸福的黄手帕》。我们从片中看到,高苍健扮演的夕张煤矿工人岛勇作,是一个酒后误杀黑社会人碴的好人。高苍健在本片一出镜场时候,己经属于改造成为良民的大众,他身高马大站在红绿灯十字口等待过街。通过十字道口之后,高苍健恍恍然来到一家小面馆坐定,他要了一杯碑酒捧牢,端了好一会儿才一口饮下去。大明星的细微表达是出众的,这表饰除了能够与高苍健个人在《新干线大爆炸》、《野性的证明》、《萤火虫》、《远山的呼唤》、《冬之华》、《南极物语》等等片中的展技相提,不知道哪一位东方演员可与匹敌?
影片《幸福的黄手帕》是一部回家的电影。确切地说,这《幸福的黄手帕》还是一部男人回家的电影。据有关资料讲,导演山田洋次对于日本男士下班无归纵情泡酒吧的作风有番看法,所在在这一部《幸福的黄手帕》当中刻意构写了岛勇作酒后遭遇酒鬼的故事细节。山田洋次的片型是极其人道的,他在这部《幸福的黄手帕》当中,总是将男主人公岛勇作置于安分守己、苦勤恳干、忠诚妻子、默默无闻、见义勇为同时后发制人的境地。
在这部影片《幸福的黄手帕》当中,山田洋次开启了东方艺术电影中的有关男人友情的先河。在山田洋次之先,小津安二朗、成濑己喜男、沟口健二他们那一代电影人开劈了关于银幕上的城市生活家庭琐事系列节目。山田洋次则身出闹市,把视野投放到了更加广宽的都市之外,比如一望不边的北海道大原野。在看到山田上面的视听作品时候,以为喧嚣城市当中,日益泛泛的温饱生活实际上,己经走到思淫欲的边界点上。比方山田洋次用了那么一小点的泊车事情,便演绎出来片中主人公们大打出手的景况。是不是对现世生活的一种善意讽刺?
两个年轻的失恋人小川株美和花田钦也,一路之上多逢坎坷,仍然信心不己,带着释放白乌岛勇作囚回北海道夕张煤矿的家。这是影片《幸福的黄手帕》的主脉故事。经过太多太密的折磨,岛勇作终于回到家了。两个年轻恋人也成全了她们自己的情事,她们不脱不泻甚至抵抗了强行发爱的手段,也能叫观众深感爱意腾升。这也许是那个年代里面才会拥有的诚心情份。今非昔比,现在时与情进,如果不脱点什么,如果不艺上加妓,便不足以表明爱心?还想重复一遍说,那些有关岛圈里的艺能之情事,为啥偏偏她们岛上的现代艺女不演?不信数数看,人家岛国现代化的明星有的是呀。斯彼尔伯格不去亲导艺伎,绝对属于上策聪智的脑筋。
影片《幸福的黄手帕》最后一幕是叫人十分动容的。彪形的汉子岛勇作一路之上,全都窝在那辆红色的小骄车里面,头都不敢抬一抬,他不敢看自己渴求的那一只黄手帕。影片画面告诉我们,这个犯过罪的男人,他的心内一定觉得自己十足的对不起前妻倍赏千惠子。影片的倒叙结构简洁凝炼,短程的三处触景生情,便实实在在托举出了片中男女主人公的过去与今天,现实与梦幻。女主人公倍赏千惠子的戏份不多,而且人物扮相也并不靓丽射眼,但是倍赏的写在眼上的心情,却是叫人放心的。实在说,这样的安份守候女情,我自己仿佛只在少数电影画面上发现过,比如八十年代有一部国产片,她的片名叫做《良家妇女》。更实用一点说,言情的片,应当是与人温良恭俭让的。
影片《幸福的黄手帕》做到了这一点。我们看见影片上面,男主人公一路追还的那一间典型棚户矿区的木板房子,是那么的简陋又贫寒,那么的角落又荒凉,但是高苍健的内心里面却只有着她。真可谓世界之大,故园是家。本来,出狱时候高苍健给前妻倍赏千惠子拍了一份电报讲,如果她愿意让他回家,就在家房顶上挂一只黄色的手帕。这只黄手帕曾经是他们生活里的一个有喜的讯号。于是高苍健怀着一腔忐忑不安回家来了。甚至到了家门口都不敢抬一抬头。一直到两个送他归来的两个年经人的惊叹,才唤醒了这一个回家男人的梦。那是两条彩色旗帜一般的黄手帕,随风飘扬着言语无华。有家可归的旗帜。音乐吞没了高苍健的泪水。他没有一句言语,只是往家跑去 ……
我们能够看见,那木板棚子顶上的两串飘扬的黄手帕随风飘开。杆顶尖上还有一只红色的小风车在鼓鼓转动。高苍健看到了正在家务的独身妻子时候,倍赏千惠子回眸张望然而无语。真爱不说我爱你。这时电影镜头刻意拉得远远,远到只见双双飘渺幻影。一下子,倍赏千惠子跌入了归来人的怀抱中。我以为那是,女主人公她再也撑不住了的一刹那。此刻电影音乐空灵。此刻电镜头横移回至红色轿车上面,两个年轻男女主人公小川株美和花田钦正为此情此景,深泣不己着。这对恋人闹了一路,现在她们终于和好了。整部《幸福的黄手帕》至此,完成了定性的使命,言情必竟言情,毫无任何说教成份与色彩,拿心归心,才是言情。
