You sit enthroned above the circle of the earth

You stretch out the heavens like a canopy

I know where my help comes from

You are too powerful to fail

You formed the man from the dust of the ground

You were grieved over man's wickedness

I know that is why Your son died

You are too loving to forsake

You have changed so many sinners’ wicked lives

You sent Your Spirit to teach and lead us

I know You are the only truth

You are too good to be false

This world surrounds me with lies and fake hopes

By all means and in all ways I am hopeless

But You have taught me that when I look up

There is God

Who is too good to be false
