英文之固定搭配

学英文时除了注意记单词以外，还有词组。一般来说词组是固定搭配的，就像中文的成语一样，在上次《让谷哥帮学英文》那篇小文里给了大家一个链接，是一个题目为《A Serious Case － 重症病人》的文章 （见链接），在读这篇文章时可以遇到一些词组，比如：
get rid of － 除掉.   I want to get rid of my old car.  
is (be) afraid of － 害怕（什么人或物).  I am afraid of him. 
a lot of, lots of － 很多(这两个基本上没有区别，可交替使用，后面这个可能比前面的更夸张一点）.  I have a lot of friends.  I also have lots of enemies!  :-) 
a piece of － 一张(纸或其它东西），英文中不多的量词之一。This is a piece of paper. 
be terrified of － 害怕（比afraid更怕）I am terrified of him. 
worry about － 担心, 怕  I worry about his health. 
think about － 想想，想着  Let me think about it.  
did (do) something about － 对xx采取行动  My car is not working well.  I need to do something about it. 

好了，这篇文章里的固定词组大概就这么多。建议你在读这篇或其它文章的时候，把固定词组都找出来，这样多次以后，你就自然而然的认识它们了。
