Asking leaves for bathroom trips, water, tissue and others are great opportunities for practicing target language. Therefore, the current rules are as such:
Water Passes: One water pass will be hung by the door. Student who needs to go to the water fountain can first ask for permission in target language, then the student may take the pass and go to have a drink. If a student uses the water pass to get out of classroom and lingers too long outside the classroom, the student may not be allowed to use fountain during foreign language class in the future.
Bathroom Passes: One bathroom pass will be hanging by the door. Student who needs to go to bathroom need to ask for permission in target language first. When permitted, the student may take the pass and go to the bathroom. The bathroom pass is for students who really need to use the bathroom. In case of abuse, those students may not be allowed to use bathroom during foreign language class in the future.
Tissues and bandages: In case of need, unless emergency, students need to ask for tissues and bandages in target language.
