今天就说时机,一定要挑好。简单地说,避免跟公事混在一起,尤其是需要老板对关切到我们利益的某件事做决定的时候。
From time to time, a boss, big or small, needs to make sound business decision for the best interests of the company, and that is what the company is hiring him/her for.
When he/she is making the decision, by no means we want to give him the negative impression that we try to manipulate the process so as to make the results convenient for us. As we had discussed several times in the weekly meeting, decision maker needs repect from each every member in the team. The last thing subordinates want to do is to insult their own boss by taking his/her options away.
Again, I'm not painting this specifically to anybody, but talking about generic rule of thumb in corp environment. When people complain their boss is nasty, in many cases they did something unpurposely damaging the relationship, and they didn't clearly see the reasons behind it.
