W: 20lb 6oz
H: 31"
HC: 46cm
teeth: 11 (3 of them are molars). 2 upper pointers and a lower molar are about to come out.
i brought her to the PD 4 days ago (because of suspecting vomiting caused by falling down) and had her weight checked (to make sure what is the right dosage of fever relieve medication to offer). her weight at that time was 22lbs, with clothing on. right after that PD visit, she suffered from stomach flu and had 2 days of loose diapers. that is the reason for her being so light (only 10%) now.
height is slighly better. from 25% (15m) to between 25% and 50% this time.
although we know the reason for her to be so slim, the PD did ask me a lot of things regarding her diet and activity level. just to make sure she is being properly taken care of, i guess.
language wise, i complained to the PD that, after the 15m check up, cc was actually doing pretty good with chinese, even producing short sentences with 6 words. but lately i increased her exposure to english and she is speaking single english words, sometimes two words. sometimes, she even mix the two languages, eg, 帽帽 yellow. the PD doesn't seems to worry at all about her language developement and see no therapy needed from the specialist.
as for thumb sucking, the PD is pretty pleased for cc's understanding of thumbsucking is not good for her, although cc is not fully capable to restrain herself.
we also discussed the symptons of lack of calcium. PD is still insist if the child is taking enough milk or calcium fortified food, the child will have enough calcium. she also mentioned that in her over 20 years of practice, she never met any patient lack of calcium, no matter how picky that eater is .
3 vaccines shots, no fever, only mild fussiness and swollen in one of the area.
next visit is at 24months, no vaccines, only blood test for anemia and lead.
