The Rick Steves tour ended after breakfast. Most people were staying a day or two longer in Vienna including me. My plan for the day was: go to Schönbrunn Palace in the morning, then go to Kunsthistorisches Museum ("Museum of Art History") after that, and finally go to the Strauss and Mozart concert at Kursalon at night. But the cold and rainy weather wore me out, after the palace I just couldn't drag myself to see the giant museum anymore. So I went back to my hotel to rest a little before going to the concert at night.
1. Schönbrunn Palace.
Schönbrunn Palace has many options for tickets which is kind of confusing. I should have just bought the Grand Tour ticket which was 16.4 euros, but I bought the Classic Pass ticket (21.6 euros) which includes the Grand Tour plus Privy Garden (OK), Orangery Garden (not worth it), Maze (not worth it in the rain) and Gloriette (completely covered up for renovation).

3. Privy Garden.

5. The main garden which is nice and free.

13. Back to Vienna.
14. Check into another hotel in Vienna. The hotel Rick Steves tour stayed at would cost me 230 euros/night + tax to stay an extra night. I didn't want to pay that much, so I moved to a small hotel two blocks away that only cost half of that.
15. Take one more look at St. Stephen's Cathedral.
16. Pulpit.
17. Baptismal font.
18. St. Stephen's Cathedral.
19. Strauss and Mozart concert at Kursalon. It is open seating, so the early you come, the front you sit in the section you bought. There are 4 sections total: VIP (1-2 rows), section A, B and C. Personally I think section A is the best if you can come early to sit upfront.
20. Strauss and Mozart concert at Kursalon.
21. Strauss and Mozart concert at Kursalon.
22. Strauss and Mozart concert at Kursalon. I really enjoyed the concert. The two concerts I attended on this trip had been a surprise hit. Worth every penny!
(The End)
P.S. 1 euro was about 1.13 USD, and $1 was about 24 CZK in Sep./Oct. 2016.
