The most terrible snow storm caught the city during the holiday. Heavy wind and icy snow, like a monster, lasted for about 40 hours, which made travel impossible. For the first time, I had to stay at home for a whole day on Saturday since I believed that mahority of plowers were working on highways. Based on the lastest news in early morning, theer were about 20 cars was caught on highway within 4-5 miles.
Today is a sunny day, good for taking some pictures. So I posted some of them to record the most terrible blizzard since I came here.
The following pictures were taken in one area of Watertown, NY, where 146 inches snow accumulated within 2 weeks.
To some extend, blizzard is fun. But too much blizzard is troublesome, especially for traffic. I was lucky I was not on the way to somewhere. :))
"Walking on snow was very enjoyable and energy-consuming, a good type of workout.", it can be compared to cross country skii, I guess. We don't have big snow this year, though there are a few very cold days.
Have a nice weekend!
hehe, compared to Watertown, NY, Cleveland is 小巫见大巫。
I tried to walk to school even after the snow storm. However, yesterday was bad since the snow started to thaw, which made the road a mess.
Walking on snow was very enjoyable and energy-consuming, a good type of workout. :)))
Yes, it was good to be with family, did nothing but eating and playing. Yesterday was fine. I took my family to play outside. It turned out that my baby boy really loved the heavy snow. He tried to take some picture though none of them was really taken. :))
WOW,Watertown, NY的雪有点多的令人恐惧。:)
maybe a good news is you and all of your family are at home instead of on the train.
