文凭

文凭是父母投资的回报。父母辛辛苦苦挣钱供你读书，文凭就是给他们的一个交待。
 
文凭是敲门砖。找工作时简历上重要的一条，也是将来晋升考核时的一个指标。
 
文凭是遮羞布。不管学到了什么，有了文凭就等于盖了个出厂合格证。
 
文凭是金缕衣。找对象时女孩子的嫁妆，男孩子的资产。
 
文凭是裹尸布。盖棺定论时少不了的一条。
 
其实，文凭与一个人的真才实学未必成正比。高文凭并不意味着你前程似锦，北大毕业的不是也有卖猪肉的么？那许多的所谓的大人物中也有不少竞是小学毕业！
 
一个人的头脑，眼光，魄力，还有勤奋，机遇等等，远远比一纸文凭重要。
 
然而无论如何不管怎样，在现代文明社会，至少获得一个本科文凭，有一定的专业知识，最起码也是你能力的体现。

yamamoto 2006-08-26 22:48:12 回复 悄悄话 you are quite right.i alway see some person require his or her girl or boy friend to have a certain degree.will they marry to the degree or...?degree plus the knowlegeon of different subject means the person master a certain confidence.such as i saw sb from actuarial science know nothing about what is LONG OR SHORT on option trading,or an accounting guy looks smart ,but hs does't understand what is CALL OR PUT in future trading.what about you?
I lived in ottawa for 2 years ,sadly got a labour job on somerset st. west/le breton ave.where do ya live there.
just make a friend.my blank memory in my life is in ottawa
