[Life without growing up] Every year on this day, when we wake up and see Christmas gifts, do we still remember what our past wishes were?
Do we remember the joyful feeling that our first Christmas gift brought us? Have you ever believed in Santa Claus, who came in quietly from the chimney in the middle of the night and put the expectations in our hearts on the bedside?
Finally one day, we know that all Christmas gifts come from ourselves, and we pin our good hopes on God's world. Do you feel a little lost?
Do we have a feeling that a life that does not grow up is such a wonderful thing?
I remember that before going abroad, I used to go to my aunt's house and sister Xiaoping's house during festivals and weekends every year. When I went back to my parents' house, my parents and my younger brothers were happily busy. I seldom take the lead and take on a share of responsibility. I am an adult who has not grown up for a long time. I think God is too good for me to grow up, which is one way I like it.
When we take on a responsibility, do we feel that God is starting to get away from us? Maybe what we see before our eyes is far from always what we expect in our hearts. Maybe it was too salty, maybe it was too sweet, maybe the bottom of the pot was burned in a blink of an eye, maybe when we opened the lid, we were disappointed.
Happy birthday, aunt.
God exists in our lives in his way, never far away from us, the process of making us grow up is really difficult, but we can't detour. He taught us to bear, tolerate, love ourselves and others.
He made us fall countless times, and it is a thing that must happen. He loves us, sees us fall, get up, fall again, get up again. He wants us to never give up. . .
Merry Christmas.
