2023年精英中学考试系列 Cambridge Assessment 考题公开

  5年级学生申请2023年精英中学7年级：2021年10月19日至11月17日报名, 2022年3月10日参加选拔考试，Cambridge Assessment 出题。

  2021年7月9日，第一次Cambridge Assessment出题的精英中学考试准时放榜：考试：Reading(25%)，Mathematical reasoning(25%),   Thinking skills(35%), Writing(15%), 学校：English (10%), Mathematics (10%)，分数经过moderated, scaled and weighted, 有点绕，家长看有没有考到什么学校就好啦。

2021年4年级学生，英才班考试推迟，11月17日考。

  考试选择题形式，分英文，数学和Thinking skills，题数有变化。考试设计：根据能力选学生，不是考核大纲基本要求。 The test has multiple-choice questions in reading skills, mathematical reasoning skills and thinking skills as well as a test of writing skills. The test is designed to measure ability rather than performance on the curriculum.

5年级学生,该怎么准备还是要踏踏实实做，重点是逻辑推理和数学应用。The new test will have a greater emphasis on thinking skills, mathematical reasoning and problem solving.

2021年3月7日政府公布考试结构：英文，数学和Thinking Skills占比改变：对英文阅读写作好的学生是利好 

家长应看了政府 2020年12月放出来的Cambridge Assessment 的模拟试卷，英文，数学感觉还好，变化明显的是Thinking skills。  

Thinking skills 题目像这样：  

When Tom told Aida that he was thinking of giving up his hobby of drawing to focus on becoming an engineer, Aida said: “You don’t need to give up a hobby like drawing just because you want to work in engineering. It’s good for you to have hobbies. They help keep you happy and relaxed so you can also study harder.” Which one of these statements, if true, most strengthens Aida’s argument?   

A Artistic or creative skills are seen as important skills for engineers to have.  

 B Tom’s latest school report said that he wasn’t studying hard enough.  

 C Tom’s school encourages its students to have at least one hobby.   

D Learning to draw well also often takes hard work and concentration.  

数学题目像这样：  

Kim and Jamie each think of a different whole number that is greater than zero and less than 50.  

 Kim’s number is a multiple of 5.  

 Jamie’s number is an even number which is a multiple of 7.   

What is the difference between the largest possible value of Kim’s number and the smallest possible value of Jamie’s number?
