从犹太下来的几个人 — 使徒行传读经随笔 第15章

使徒行传第十五章说保罗和巴拿巴在外邦传福音,有几个人从犹太下来,教导弟兄们说:“你们若不按摩西的规条受割礼,不能得救”。保罗和巴拿巴就与他们大大的分争辩论,但从犹太下来的这几个人不服,就派保罗,巴拿巴和几个人就这件事去耶路撒冷咨询其他的使徒与长老。保罗他们到了耶路撒冷,那里有几个信徒是法利赛教门的人,也起来说:“必须给外邦人行割礼,吩咐他们遵守摩西的律法”。可见,这些法利赛人虽然是信徒,但是他们依然处于吃奶的基督徒阶段,他们还没有按耶稣所说的否定他们的旧人去靠耶稣得救。因此,他们仍然把行割礼作为得救的前提。这不禁让人想起,在马太福音里耶稣曾说过,凡文士受教作天国的门徒,就像一个家主的库里既有新的东西,也有旧的东西,他会同时拿出它们来。因此,他们的教导对信福音的外邦人来说是一种迷惑,后来保罗在他的书信里多次警告弟兄们要小心这些教导。另外,注意这里的经文用的是“几个人从犹太下来”,而不是“几个门徒从犹太下来”。

徒15:1 有几个人、从犹太下来、教训弟兄们说、你们若不按摩西的规条受割礼、不能得救。
Some men came down from Judea and taught the brothers, "Unless you are circumcised after the custom of Moses, you can't be saved."
徒15:2 保罗巴拿巴与他们大大的分争辩论、众门徒就定规、叫保罗巴拿巴和本会中几个人、为所辩论的、上耶路撒冷去、见使徒和长老。
Therefore when Paul and Barnabas had no small discord and discussion with them, they appointed Paul and Barnabas, and some others of them, to go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and elders about this question.
徒15:4 到了耶路撒冷、教会和使徒并长老、都接待他们、他们就述说 神同他们所行的一切事。
When they had come to Jerusalem, they were received by the assembly and the apostles and the elders, and they reported all things that God had done with them.
徒15:5 惟有几个信徒是法利赛教门的人、起来说、必须给外邦人行割礼、吩咐他们遵守摩西的律法。
But some of the sect of the Pharisees who believed rose up, saying, "It is necessary to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses."
徒15:6 使徒和长老、聚会商议这事。
The apostles and the elders were gathered together to see about this matter.
太13:52 他说。凡文士受教作天国的门徒、就像一个家主、从他库里拿出新旧的东西来。
He said to them, "Therefore every scribe who has been made a disciple in the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who is a householder, who brings out of his treasure new and old things."
