Poker:
1. Be patient, only play good hand and fold all the mediocre ones.
2. Play aggressively if you think you have best hand on table.
3. Calculate the size of the pot and the possibility of drew good card to
decide bet or fold.
4. Control the buy in amount, don't play with the money you cannot afford to
lose.
5 .Read your opponent, play differently according to your opponent's
strategy.
6. Over the long run, professionals win because of skills, not luck, but
outcome of individual hand mostly decided by luck.
7. A lot of time you have the perfect hand but everybody will fold if they
are not dumb.
Trading:
1. Wait for good setup, don't trade if there is no good setup , exit if
trade turns bad.
2. Trade meaningful position when there is good setup with confidence.
3. Use risk/reward to decide if you should stay in position or not.
4. Control you risk and don't bet the house on one trade.
5. Use different strategy on different market conditions.
6. Focus on knowing and improving you edge, focus on doing the right thing
instead of money.
7. There is no sure to win trade, nobody will trade on the other side if it
is so obvious. Be conformable to execute with uncertainty.
