In fashion news: Victoria Beckham set to relocate to London Fashion Week
Victoria Beckham is set to mark the 10th anniversary of her eponymous label with a number of changes, the first being that of the brand’s fashion week location. Moving from New York to London Fashion Week come February, Beckham will show her new autumn/winter collection far closer to home. In addition to this, the designer will now also be showing her line via a series of intimate presentations at Manhattan’s James Burden Mansion, as opposed to the label’s traditional Sunday morning presentation during New York Fashion Week. Furthermore, Beckham is set to launch a series of special pieces, activations and collaborations in the near future, so watch this space.
In an effort to demonstrate the brand’s appeal to a multi-generational audience, Stuart Weitzman has tappedGigi Hadid and Kate Moss for its spring 2018 advertising campaign. Photographed by Mario Testino, the campaign also features Australian male model Jordan Barrett alongside the blonde bombshells in a series of images that capture the brand’s aesthetic and the season’s key silhouettes.
Internationally renowned fashion houses Off-White and Jimmy Choo have announced a collaboration on a luxury footwear collection inspired by Princess Diana – a fan of the footwear retailer and a muse for Virgil Abloh’s most recent spring/summer collection. The line will be available in Australia from March and while it is set to feature nine classic silhouettes, we can expect that each will have a decidedly '90s take. David Jones has now become the newest stockist for all things Balmain, announcing this week it will carry the French label. Available in-store at David Jones’s Elizabeth Street (Sydney) and Bourke Street (Melbourne) locations, the department store celebrated the news with a shoot starring newly minted ambassador (and Victoria’s Secret model) Victoria Lee.
