You did it right. Roasted the turkey with breast side down protects the white meat from overcooking and allows it to absorb the juices as they run downward into the bottom. If the turkey you cooked was juicy tender, you know the reason why. :-)

Don't feel too bad. More and more American do not like to eat Turkey either. In fact, if not for the tradition, most of the US family would not want to eat turkey. Just heard a radio show, some people now treated turkey as side dish. What is main dish? Lasagna, Fajita, etc. In Chinese case, maybe be a roast duck!

烤的时候让火鸡肚子朝上买相更好一点~~~怕焦的话先用锡箔纸盖着烤，最后半小时再拿掉：）
谢谢农兄喜欢我们东北菜，蘑菇是东北的野生榛蘑和松茸。没有小鸡，用鸡腿代替的。
