LIFE IS LEARNING HOW TO DANCE IN THE RAIN: SPRING TRIP TO MIAMI AND KEY WEST
Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, but it is about learning how to dance in the rain. So far, my energy is still under low level. I often comfort myself it is okay with that and I should accept that. I should not to wait my energy coming back instead of taking the first step to travel and enjoy life even I don't see what is going on.
February 25th, we started three day's trip to Florida. Morning, we arrived to Miami Beach hotel and lived in an ocean view room. Through the window I looked over the blue Atlantic Ocean. That was so beautiful and impressive. The various styles of buildings are around the beach. Eleven years ago we have been there, but fewer buildings than today. That time I was still young and energized, and able to enjoy the marvelous scene by walking on the beach. Eleven years later, I became weaker and weaker, so that I can only be able to look instead of walking. But that was good enough for me. Sitting in the car, I took some pictures of gorgeous hotels, pretty trees, tremendous condominiums and busy traffic.
Afternoon I found the sea water turn to green. What an awesome change you could imagine. The hotel was fifty meters away from the beach, but it was still too far for me to reach there. It didn't matter; my husband went there and took some wonderful pictures to share with me.
Next day , we drove more than 200 miles to visit the famous Key West. When driving on a bridge, which was 100 miles over the sea, my vision was filled with the green water. Unluckily, we could not stop by and took some pictures. I only have caught some dynamic pictures through the car window. Those were not bad, weren't they?
At noon we arrived at the destination, Key West, which is an island located in the most south of America. Since the Atlantic Ocean and Mexico Golf meet there, the water appears the light blue. The natural world always attracts people to investigate and study. The tourists from the whole world cumulated there and lived in the different styles of house hotels, which dominated that small city. Actually, that city is surrounded by the ocean, beach, and boats.
Time flew fast. Three days' trip ended soon. I came back home. I had a wonderful travel. Thanks for all the people who gave me hands, and especially, my husband.
Life is unpredictable. When I walked into the half journey of my life and looked back my experiences, I realized that I often had challenges such as struggling for the college entrance examination, finding a job, raising the baby, dealing with persecution, losing daddy, living overseas and struggling again the medical problem. When I made it through one, another one came along. I could not figure out what was going on in my life, why the thing happened for me, and what was coming next. I know nobody life is perfect. I keep on doing the thing with the help of other people. God will restore every broken place in my life!
