They have 1/10th of the crime because hardly anyone reports the crimes, and those that do, somehow it gets swept under the rug, or the victim ends up handling it themselves and creating vigilante justice. I hate it when other countries try to take the superiority tactic and claim their laws are better than that of the U.S. I am more than positive that many of their crimes have had an innocent person take the fall for the crimes.

Great acting from Gere and Bai Ling. I’ve not seen her before. I’d like to see her other movies. She’s great! If a woman fights for your innocence at the cost of her reputation (face in Asian culture is of the utmost importance) or even her life, then you never let her go
