What a great flick ! It was good to watch it again after all these years. This movie now has a lot more relevance in reality than it did when it was released, obviously. AI is now not so far away from the kind of robotics that are in this movie- they are coming. So will job loss , loss of employment opportunities , etc, and maybe even worse. When AI has all of the answers what will they need us for ? Think about it. Mankind has always allowed it's hubris to guide it, our ego in itself is self destructive in a lot of cases. It is a shame that with all of this great technology that there will always be an evil hand in it somewhere- even if it is an unintentional evil.
