Initially, I conatcted the physician in northern Virginia. During my appointment, he examined me, verified the diagonisi of lung cancer, and prescribed a four - prong program. This usual plan included:
1) B-17, amygdaline or the more popular name Laetrile, administered by intravenous injections varying from 3 to 9 or more grams, or tablets of 500 mg for oral administration, or available from natural sources such as apricot kernels, millet, fruit and berry seeds, and serveral beans, seeds, and grains.
2) Nutritional Supplements. 10 or 12 vitamins and minerals administratered orally in tablets and capsule form in massive amounts and two or three pancreatic enzyme supplements in the form of of panagamic acid.
3) Diet: Mainly fresh uncooked fruit, vegetables, grains and nuts. Avoid animal protein, including dairy foods that produce a heavy demand on pancreatic enzymes that are required for effective use of vitamins.
4) Detoxification and maintenance of free and through digestive and elimination process through frequent fasting and or enemas that were considered important for elimination of toxic residue from the breakdown of disease tissues and for liver stimulation. A minimum program requires an occational fast for a day or two, ingesting only fruit and vegetable juices, and regular use of supplementary tablets such as comfrey-pepsin and betaine.
My specific plan follows:
Amygdalin ( B-17 or laetrile )
My plan included amygdaline 1000 mg in tablet form at bedtime, and one with breakfast and one with lunch ( 500 mg ) for a total of 2000 mg daily. I also carried apricot kernels, the substance from which laetrile is made, and ate about 30 of these periodically the day as prescribed by the doctor. They are very bitter but I learned to tolerate them by drinking water immedately after. In fact, the water actually tasted sweet after the kernels.
I purchased my amygdaline in Maryland at a pharmacy identified by my physician (neither are in business now) because it was illegal and otherwise unobtainable to my knowledge. However, I did locate some locally when discussing my treatment with a storeowner but it was twice the price I was paying in Maryland. Each month I purchased my amygdaline and paid $114 a month according to receipts I have saved. Vitamins and enzymes were extra but the total cost was around $200 a month if I remember correctly. I continued amygdaline and the supplements for 2 years.
