Sting的格莱美获奖歌曲选听

    我在《The Art of Noise - conversations with great songwriters》这本书中读到的另一个音乐家是英国的Sting。我们对Sting多少都有些了解，不记得是哪一年了，我在文学城博客中看到一个“Englishman in New York"的帖子，那是我们熟知的一首Sting的歌曲。

    Sting的歌唱生涯是从"The Police" band开始的，八十年代初Police一举拿下六座格莱美大奖，之后Sting作为solo singer相继又获得过十次格莱美奖。下面表格是来自维基百科的"List of awards and nominations received by Sting"。

先贴一个Sting在Police Band时期的获奖歌曲 - "Every Breath You Take"

1986年获四项格莱美提名的Sting album《The Dream of the Blue Turtles》中的两首歌曲 - "If You Love Someboday Set Them Free" and "Love Is the Seventh Wave"

为Sting赢得1987和1988两座格莱美奖的电影"Bring on the Night" - documented the formation of Sting's solo band, and his first concert in France.

Sting获1992格莱美的"The Soul Cages" 专辑歌曲

1994年Sting因专辑《Ten Summoner's Tales》获得六项格莱美提名，并最终赢得了两座大奖，而这首专辑歌曲"If I Ever Lose My Faith in You" 也赢得"Best Male Pop Vocal Performance" 。

2000年为Sting赢得了两座格莱美大奖的专辑《Brand New Day》，下面是2013年Sting六十岁生日时在 Stevie Wonder口琴伴奏下演唱单曲"Brand New Day"。

2001年Sting凭借歌曲"She Walks This Earth"获得又一个格莱美奖

2004年Sting与Mary Blige的二重唱歌曲"Whenever I Say Your Name"再获格莱美。

Sting有一首非常好听的歌曲"Fragile"，虽然只获得格莱美提名，我也贴一下吧！
