It was dusk time, when I was leaving the office. Through the windows, the last sparkling beams from the sun, bright red with subtle dim blueness, were dangling at the far far west end of the river. It was indeed the soft moment of day – the sweet but transient sunset.
For a short moment, somehow, I helplessly thought about tranquility – a peaceful place or a moment, escaping from the ordinary, seeing beyond.
With the unpredicted faltering paces, finally winter was here. The city turned monochrome – black trees against gray sky above the light white earth. The wind from the far northern place would mercilessly sweep the streets and leve the emptiness in this valley.
It was not full winter yet, while the chilliness would be silently scented everywhere.
The temperature was dropping when I left building; the stars glinted like ice against dark blue sky; the crescent was just a light image aside. Oh, tranquility might be the silence I was enjoying now – I talked to myself.
Meditation- I might need that. Through the reflections of your mind, it gives you the freedom of choices – to stay or not to stay; conveys the boundless messages, tranquility, to yourself; embraces the peace and escapes from stresses and strains of daily life to recharge.
It was a short moment though, the sunset. The beauty came up with the fragileness of this moment as well - the sun might be behind; the clouds might be all over the sky. Well, it was a lucky day, I admitted to myself, as I still saw the precious moment of sunset tonight.
