After we were all done, we rode our bikes home. “Hey,” Allan suddenly said. “Isn’t that Jason and Janisa?” Sure enough, the other 2 members of the Musical Wizards came down the street on their bikes. “Janisa! Jason!” we shouted. “How are you doing?” Allan asked. “Great! We’re just going to sign up for the SATW Pet Day!” said Jason. “Janisa’s inviting me.” We all laughed. “Guess what? We just finished signing up. After you sign up, you can call us and we can all go to the park with our dogs!”
“That’s a great idea! We can take turns walking the dogs with a partner,” said Janisa. “I choose Ally!” I immediately called out. “Hey,” said Ally. “We need a group of 3, because somebody will be left out.” “Jason and I’ll take Janisa!” cried Allan. “Okay! See you at my house!” said Ally. Allan, Ally, and I continued back to her house.
Soon, Jason and Janisa came to Ally and Allan’s house and we walked our dogs to the park. Jason and Janisa don’t have a dog, but Jason has a ferret and Janisa has a bunny. Jason’s ferret is named Frenteen and Janisa’s bunny is called Sunnyscotch.
We had a lot of fun at the park. Ally and I walked the dogs. While we walked around the park, we talked about the pet day. Ally said she was gonna teach Igloo how to get free when she puts a blanket over her. Igloo already knows how to jump and roll around, so Ally just needed to teach her 1 more trick. “But I’m not letting Igloo perform those tricks. I’m teaching her 2 other tricks which are better and that I’ll have a better chance of winning!” I asked Ally how she was gonna dress-up Igloo.
“I’m not telling you. It’s gonna be a surprise!” I was going to teach Strokses how to do high five and how to dance to music. He’s already knows how to do a front roll, so that will be the other trick.
“And Ellie’s coming back to teach her beagle some tricks too!” I wondered what Ellie was going to name her beagle and what tricks she was going to teach her.
Soon it was Janisa, Jason and Allan’s turn to walk the dogs. We had a lot of fun and soon Ally and I were at Ally’s house on her bunk bed, fast asleep.

The next week I woke up and found myself in my own bed again. I rubbed my eyes and looked out the window. It was really sunny. I grunted and then changed into my favourite green and white spaghetti striped t-shirt and my yellow shorts. After a breakfast of cereal and butter on toast, I went back to my room and turned on my laptop. I checked my schedule and, finding no work to do, logged on to www.twyf.sa. I clicked on my favourite chat room, suprstrs. Seeing so many people online, I decided to “search” for an online contact.
In the search box I typed -ell- and I saw 5 people online with an account name beginning with “ell”. There were:
After talking to Ellie for 20 minutes, I was overjoyed! I found out that she was chatting with me on the train right now because she left a week ago, which meant she would arrive earlier than before when she was taking plane here. She would have 16 days to train her beagle! I quickly called Ally on the phone and told her the news since she wasn’t online. Ally was so happy! Soon I was busy training Strokses to dance to music. I put on my favourite song and tried to teach Strokses. All she did was bark. I was losing my patience. It took me a little while to get Strokses to stand up and walk a few steps. After half an hour, she could spin around, and do many more things.
The next day I kept trying, and finally, Strokses knew how to dance.
That night I went to bed. I was so excited! The next morning I would be with Ally and Allan’s family at the train station to pick up Ellie and Melissa! Even Ally and Allan’s older brother Alo in university who works at some place none of us knew was going too. I couldn’t wait to give Ellie her surprise!
The next morning I woke up just when the phone rang. “Hello? Monica Kites, Special Agent speaking…”
“Hey Monee! It’s Ally.”
“Hey, wat’s up?”
“Just to tell you, be ready in an hour!”
“Okay! Bye!”
“Bye!”
I tried to change into my green t-shirt with sparkly gems on it and my blue mid-way tights as fast as I could. I didn’t want to miss out on such a special event! I had a breakfast of butter on toast and milk and then checked my e-mail. I had 2 junk mails and 1 from Ellie last night reminding me about today. I deleted them all after reading Ellie’s and then did my hair up into a tight ponytail.
Suddenly the phone rang again. I picked it up and said, “Hello? Monica Kites, Special Agent speaking…”
“Hi Monee. It’s mom.”
“Hi mom, go ahead…”
I talked to my mom at work. She told me to read off a list she forgot. It seemed like a schedule or something.
I packed my green backpack including my special agent cell phone and my laptop. Then I slipped on my green crocs and went outside, locked the door, and finished just when Ally’s van came down the street. Ally’s parents sat at the front. Alo sat on the left seat, Allan sat on the right seat, so I went to the back row where Ally was sitting. Ally’s mother closed the automatic door and we were off to the train station!
