First of all: It’s simple!
Get in www.picturetrail.com, you need to create an account in order to make your flicks. So, click on ‘Free Signup’ to create you account.
After getting the new account, you can login and do the first step of all: upload the pictures.
There are a few options to choose on the first page after you have logged in. Click “Upload Photos”. If you have not created your own album (I did not), the pictures will be uploaded in ‘My Album’. You can upload 5 to 15 pictures at a time and you can up load as many times as you like.
The next step is to create the flick. It depends on where you are, the position of the button for ‘create a photo flick’ varies from page by page. If you don’t find it, click a few buttons and for sure you will find it. This was how I did.
There are ‘Skins, Decorations, Glitter, Size, Borders, Background and Flick designs’ you can choose to make your own design. Try a few and see the changes on the flick itself shown on the top of the screen. Try many times until you are happy about the design.
After you have chosen your style, click “ADD PHOTOS” to choose the pictures you want to put in this particular flick. If you have more than one album, choose the one you have the right photos in first. Highlight the photo. If you want more than one photo to be in the flick, use the control key to select more. After that, click “Add selected photos”. You would notice that it changes while you are making selections, changes. If you scroll down the screen, you can see the pictures you have selected for this particular flick under “Flick Photos”. You can change the captions.
Now, you can save your flick, click the orange button “Save (get code)”. Get a name at the next screen then click “Save & Get Code” one more time. It brings you to the next screen. You have saved it and you can go back to edit as many times as you like.
Finally, to your very practical usage – posting on to WXC, click “Copy Posting Code” and paste onto your writing area of the new post (or your editing post in ‘group’).
If you want to edit the flick, click on ‘My Saved Flicks’. It will show you all the flicks you have created, click ‘edit’ under the one you want to edit. Then click “ADD PHOTOS” to add more photos or “EDIT PHOTOS” to edit or delete your photo in this flick.
