9. Stir Your Emotions
One day, while in the car, I heard the DJ of my favorite radio station say that he was going to play some music that would "stir your emotions." I was quite skeptical whether that was a good thing or not; fortunately, that piece turned out to be fine. Now, to stir my emotions, I check my personal email account a couple of times during the work day - it is so invigorating to hear from a dear friend or a loved one!
10. Baby Pressure and Babyphilia
After hoping for a baby for some time without success, I coined one phrase and one word related to babies: The phrase is "baby pressure", which is essnetially the peer pressure when the others are having babies one by one; The word is "babyphilia", which refers to the uncontrollable love towards young babies by people wanting a baby but not having one yet. Hopefully we will have a baby sometime, which will then relieve our baby pressure and cure our babyphilia.
11. Soul Surfer
Just finished watching Soul Surfer on DVD completely, including the movie and all the bonus features, and loved every minute of it. Very beautifully made, with nice beach and sea shots, breathtaking blue waves with white crests, topnotch surfing, and, of course, attractive players. What touched me the most is the real life character, Bethany Hamilton, her strength, will, and faith. Truly inspiring and highly recommended.
