  1. 4Q profit: rose 47 percent and reached $931 million/87 cents per share, up from $632 million/59 cents per share
  2. 4Q revenue: rose 25 percent to $3.71 billion from $2.97 billion
  3. 2008 full year: profit rose to $3.43 billion/$3.21 per share from $2.78 billion/$2.59 per share; Revenue rose to $13.42 billion from $11.72 billion.
  4. Cash & investments: $9.6 billion
  5. 2009 Outlook: profit to range from $3.55 to $3.90 per share weaker than expected $3.92 per share
  6. Its products :
    1. Avastin: treat colon, lung, and breast cancer
    2. Rituxan : lymphoma and rheumatoid arthritis increased 14 percent to $677 million
    3. Herceptin: breast cancer treatment rose 3 percent to $336 million
    4. Lucentis : macular degeneration rose 20 percent to $236 million
