Dear friends, What do you call your in-laws at the 1st time you meet them?
We will spend 1 week with my boyfriend's parents for Christmas holiday. I've prepared some gifts for them whom i've never met in person. When i asked my boyfriend what should i write on the gift box which is for his mom, he asked me to write:"To Mom". We'll be leave tomorrow to meet them in other province,i've been thinking what should i call his parents when i meet them in person, their names? or Uncle/Anutie + names, or Mom/Dad?
Could you please share with me any ideas. Thanx and Merry Christmas :)

to "XXX", for you, I think. (XXX= her name)
I have never called my in-laws mom or dad. My sister-in-law, other Chinese lady, tried to call them mom or dad, but to my surprise, they tried to correct her.
