儿子版 Ratatouille 等

我家大帅哥那天拿回一本书(儿童读物),里面有一个 Ratatouille Recipe ,便说想做,于是我买来了料,让他和我一起做。



用料: 
1 large eggplant, diced ito 1-inch chunks
1 green bell peper, cut into 1-inch squares
1 red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch squares
4 zucchini, sliced 1/2-inch chunks
5 tomatoes, cut in 1-ich chunks
2 medium onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp, dried thyme or 1 Tbsp, fresh chopped
1/3 cup fresh basil, chopped or 1 tsp, dried
1/4 cup dry white wine
1/2 lemon
1/3 cup olive oil
3 bay leaves
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper

做法:
Heat olive oil in a  large pot. Saute onion until they are translucent. Add garlic, thyme, basil, salt, pepper, and bay leaves. Cook about 3 minutes. Add tomatoes and wine. Simmer uncovered for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add eggplant, zucchini, red and green peppers. Simmer covered for about 15 minutes until the vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally but not break up the veggies. Sprinkle with lemon juice.

嘿嘿,叫儿子忙了好一阵,他也很有兴趣。配方上是8人的量,我用了一半的料,又让儿做了些算术,多划算。

这是慈菇(不知这样写法对不对),这是额家儿子的“牛”奶奶和“牛”爷爷自己种的,牛吧!这种长在水里的蔬菜,有一骨淡淡的苦味,很清火的,同肉一起煮特别好吃。这次我用来炖牛筋。


做法就不写了,跟红烧肉做法差不多啦。

长周末时去了趟坎培拉,去看孩子们的爷爷,奶奶,姑姑,姑夫,叔叔,婶婶,从“牛”奶奶和“牛”爷爷那儿带回了慈菇,还带了好多他们种的蔬菜,上一张南瓜照让大家瞧瞧。
