The Senior Analyst for Process Improvement seeks to improve, streamline, and document the standard operating procedures underlying the executive education programs of the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative (BHCLI). The Senior Executive Fellows Program Senior Executive Fellows (SEF) is one of the original flagship programs offered by Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education. The program is designed for GS-14/GS-15 federal employees who aspire to the Senior Executive Service, alongside their corporate sector, international, non-profit, multi-lateral, and military counterparts. Cohort participants represent federal agencies including the Treasury, Department of Labor, Centers for Disease Control, Department of Defense, NASA, and many others, as well as leaders of international governments, nongovernmental agencies, and global corporations. Offered four times per year in both online and on campus formats, SEF is an intensive program which spans four weeks in duration. Each session hosts a diverse cohort of approximately 60-80 people, nominated to apply and funded by their organizations. Led by Harvard faculty and expert practitioners, the program is centered on helping participants gain the Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs), defined by the US Office of Personnel Management (OPM) for eligibility to attain Senior Executive Service (SES). Many US government agencies list the program as part of their SES Candidate Development Programs. SEF is the longest and longest-standing program within the Kennedy School’s executive education portfolio.
