The first happened around 9:30, obviosuly, some people chose today as a get away day, and DOW almost fail to be flat. Another one happened just before the closing, people still do not want to hold the stock overnight(who can blame them). at the end, the bull wins the day with all major indexes up more 1%.

The oil helped too.
