[art: alex grey] 不知何故, 我无法在知凡的博克里跟贴，只好转到这里来讨论。 非常喜欢知凡摘录的古文/典： 晁文元《法藏碎金录》亦谓“觉有三说，随浅深而分。一者觉触之觉，谓一切含灵，凡有自身之所触，无不知也。（即按文子所谓下学）二者觉悟之觉，谓一切明哲，凡有事之所悟，无不辨也。（即按中学）三者觉照之觉，谓一切大圣，凡有性之所至，无不通也。（即按上学）” 我没有弄清知凡对“性”的分析。“性”还是“性灵”？？ 古文中的“性”比现代汉语的“性”的含义广。今天，“性”就是性，人们联想的也是“性”。 而“灵性/性灵”则突出“灵”的内涵。 我觉得今天我们所理解的性，SEX，应当归于“触之觉”的阶段，即肉体的接触，也是肉体的感觉。 也就是说，男女之间的性事可以完全是肉体的，如嫖客与妓女的性交。 “性灵”似乎属于“悟之觉”的范畴，如人的性灵多是天生，悟力会受天生的灵性影响。当然，后天 的努力也会帮助一个人的悟力。但，这里面有着类似“因果”的关系。 “照之觉”则不那么简单了。有灵性，会罗漫，勤学苦练，心灵手巧，琴棋书画，甚至熟喑男女之事 等等并不代表这最高层的“觉”。 这里的“大圣，”我理解是神圣，HOLY/SACRED，是指人对天下万物视为神圣的，由内心发出的一种对 “性”--NATURE的态度。这里的“性”接近于“本性”。 所以，当一个人真正领悟了“人的本性”和万物的本性，甚至宇宙的本性，那么，人的“觉”方属上乘， “无不通也，”即没什么能使你迷惑的了。 非常感谢知凡的摘录和涉猎之广！我乱涂几句，希望朋友们各抒高见！

...I think 晁文元所说的"觉" means "awareness". He mentioned 3 level of awareness: preceptive level, cognitive level and transcendental(spiritual) level. Only the awareness in spiritual level we call it "enlightment"...

some of the words are still fuzzy, that is, we seem to know them....for example, what's the difference between "perception" and "cognitive awareness"??
in other words, when we try to project our own taught or learned "knowledge," we are still crawling in someone's used light....
as far as i can understand, the highest level---an awakened bliss---is to let our own "mind" go, because we simple cannot "get it" :))
right? is that why the Zen Buddhist masters meditate for years?

古人比现代人简单多了，简单常常具有穿透力，我想他们比我们更被“光”照亮着，呼吸着更清新的“空气”，而我们现在却在夜里在黑暗中寻找着生命的感觉和"觉"，作舟的诗"Walking the Heart Road"里让人感受到诗人已有很多的“觉”。。。而为了更加不迷惑“It’s getting dark now/Let’s hit the road!“。。。
我们现在有时在思考或感受的一些“内容”几千年前的人类就有智慧在其中，而我们到底失落了什么呢？？？
字和字紧咬着，永恒是铜壶中的谜
点点滴滴，注定的时刻
恶梦掘成最后一个栖身之所
龟甲碎裂，失传的历史嵌进新闻
古猿再次占领人类的话题
而神，都把脑袋塞入不男不女的裤裆

本性can't be expressed with words, it can only be "觉". :))

Rumi的诗在我的头脑思维去解读前，诗歌的表达有很强的感觉上的共鸣，解读之一可以说他属于爱，属于"你"，属于earth，属于自然，爱是自然的品质（诗歌的解读没有标准答案:）。。。我自己的感觉，一个自然（Nature本性）的人的生命，不仅包含土，还有水与火的品质。。。不信你们自己感觉一下自己，当我们忠实于自己的生命的真实感觉，可以悟到很多东西，。。。土（大地），海洋（水），太阳（火），还不仅如此。。。人与宇宙一体（作舟配的这幅画的感受）。。。理解自身的奥妙(“人的本性”)，爱的奥妙，甚至宇宙的奥妙。。。我常把“知识”与自己的感觉直觉与体悟联系起来去感觉和理解一些东西。。。

我非常非常赞同，可我写不出这样的文字:) 一来我的文字功力还不够，二来我还没有那么“觉”。。。
"触之觉" are feelings, physical responses, mostly biological based.
"悟之觉" are thoughts, intuitions, poetry, etc.:)
"Love" in different levels are different kinds of love. :)

的确，很多都与生俱来。。。先天的灵性好比是大师，后来的更多是技艺高超的工
匠。。。尤其在音乐艺术方面。。。这点我毫不掩饰自己的偏见
