佛教胜地: 青原山
This temple was apparently quite influential. It was built by some one from Shaolin Temple long time ago.
It was completely burned down during the Cultural Revolution. As it turned out, this temple successfully established its footing in Japan. So after the Cultural Revolution, those followers in Japan came back to seek their religious root, and after locating their root, they decided to rebuild this temple. So here it is today.
This is a functioning temple, with real monks (verses salaried employees).
青原山 is located about 10 km outside 吉安 city in Jiangxi province.
