Yo ..
It was cold here this morning but it was nothing compared to my early days living in New York.
No one was making coffee this morning so I was falling asleep in the office. Some memories were flickering…
When the temperature dropped to 10 degrees below zero, you still had to ride on an old bike to deliver foods on the slippery icy streets. You had no time to worry if the break would work to stop the bike in the snow because your were dreaming. You were so busy in a feverish to chaste your dreams. You had no time to compliant because the opportunity was so preciously. You knew the beauty of this opportunity was that you were not obligated to it but you chosen it.
When the temperature dropped, even more, to 15 degrees below zero, your nose hairs were frozen. You had no time to think because your brain was freezing. If you fell off the bike, you would only have two choices: got up and kept going or laid down waiting for the ice to freeze your ass.
But you knew if you believed in your dreams, the temperature would warm up to a balmy one tomorrow. Then the spring came; the flowers would be blooming along with your dreams.
I was disillusioned when my colleague stopped by.
Oops. I can smell some coffee now (someone must be brewing a new pot). Got to go. I need to catch up some work, too.
