如果你象我一样，download 了 N 多的 TomTom 6 却不能让任何一个 work，那么你现在找对了地方。
I know exactly why you can't make it work, and assure you that you will have TT6 run on your device after reading the article.
1) Download
网上下载的都是不带 .exe 的软件包。不管你怎么按说明安装，最后都不可避免地以失败而告终。所以，首要任务是先搞到个执行文件。
2) Install
安装无需 MS ActiveSync.

好了，运行 Tomtom Navigator.exe，you're on your way of exploration.
3) Insight
Unlike Garmin Mobile XT, TomTom 6 does not have maps locked. If you have additional map, you may place it in its directory at the root of Storage Card, parallel to \\ Storage Card \\ USA_and_Canada_675.1409 \\, like \\ Storage Card \\ Guam \\.
At any time, you may select only one map is use, if multiple maps in device. You may find current map stored in \\ Storage Card \\ TomTom \\ CurrentMap.dat, using notepad to view.
"No Map Found" error message
Now you hava TT6 run in your device, but you got this message after splash. Ok, just one more step away. Following are what you gonna do.
1) Regedit
2) HKLM -> EXPLORER -> SHELL FOLDERS -> My Document
3) Change the value from whatever to \\Storage Card\\, and "ok"
4) Re-run TT6 and you will be given a chance to select your map, if more than one are there.
When you upgrade application to a higher version, be sure to back up your \\ Storage Card \\ TomTom \\ MapSettings.cfg and \\ Storage Card \\ TomTom \\ traffic.inc prior to doing so.
If the TT6 does not get satellite signal on Sprint Mogul phone (aka Titan), you may need to save a copy of bafgpsv01t.exe, from here, in \\ Storage Card \\ TomTom \\ bafgpsv01t.exe, run it to configurate the complete path of "\\Storage Card\\TomTom\\Tomtom Navigator.exe". Afterward, run "bafgpsv01t.exe" instead of "Tomtom Navigator.exe".
For convenience, I renamed "bafgpsv01t.exe" to "TTN6.exe".

2) Install
安装无需 MS ActiveSync.
- PC 上解包 TT.v.6.Cab.Install.rar 和 TT6.SD.Card.Files.rar
- 在 Storage Card 上新开 TomTom 子目录
- 把 TT6.SD.Card.Files.rar 的文件全部拷到 TomTom 子目录，如 \\ Storage Card \\ TomTom \\ 2577 \\ 等 (including "itn, raster, schemes, voices" etc).
- PC 上解包了的地图文件连同目录，一起到 Storage Card 的根目录，如 \\ Storage Card \\ USA_and_Canada_675.1409 \\.
- 把 TT.v.6.Cab.Install.rar 的文件拷到 Storage Card 的新开的 \\ Storage Card \\ Temp \\ 子目录，双击 cab 文件。tt6today.rar 的 plugIn 是 optional. 安装结束后删除 Temp 目录。
- 把 Tomtom 6.204 WM5.rar 解包后的 Tomtom Navigator.exe 文件拷到 Storage Card \\ TomTom \\ 下，如 \\ Storage Card \\ TomTom \\ Tomtom Navigator.exe.
