To go to Pena National Palace, you really need to take a bus or taxi, because it is a long and steep uphill climbing from Sintra National Palace. We caught bus #434 outside of the TI office which is around the corner from Sintra National Palace. Paid the bus driver 1o euros for two bus tickets good for all day, and went up to Pena National Palace.
1. Even after the bus ride, there is still another 10 minutes uphill walk to get to the palace.
2. Unfortunately part of the palace was under renovation :(
3. We just came through the Moorish arch.

Around the palace, there is a huge park that you can visit. But we didn't have time. We had to get over to the Moorish Castle next.
