Day 10 It was a beautiful day today, mostly sunny, with high in the 60s. we arrived in Pisa in late morning. Followed the signs to an information office and got a good map of Pisa. We wanted to go to the Square of Miracles of course, where the Duomo, the Leaning Tower, the Baptistery and the Camposanto stand. All of them are leaning, not just the tower.

At the time of our visit, they allowed 45 people to climb the Tower every 30 minutes (15 euros/person, 294 steps). Thanks to off-season, we only had to wait an hour for the next available spots. We bought the tickets and wandered around for 50 minutes before coming back to check our bags. They didn't allow any bag up there.

The view was incredible up there. We didn't want to leave but you had to. There were workers on the top to make sure people going back down at the end of their time slot.
