Sacrifice of Isaac Gallery

The sacrifice of Isaac story has given rise to a variety of interpretations and artistic depictions. Compare and contrast these paintings. Define the different moments of the story each picture captures. In each rendition Abraham has his hand on Isaac, but quite differently. Notice the varying disposition of Abraham toward Isaac in the pictures.
