We started to use a timer with him. He was allowed to play with trains for 10 minutes in the morning, and 15 minutes of cars in the afternoon. He really wanted to play with cars. He asked Baba for cars, and Baba says, "what do you say?". (answer: please). Yangyang says, "I get the timer! I get the timer!" He knew where the cars are and he asked Baba to "open this white thing" (closet door). He is so excited to play with cars and trains (and he wants jeep), but he has such a hard time putting them away. He was screaming and crying after we finished with the cars, saying he did not want to go outside to take a walk.
Once we went outside, he was all happy. He used a bamboo stick as a walking stick, saying "我是公公!" He wanted to play with Caleb for a while. He saw a house decorated with skeletons, but he was more interested in opening the gate to the front porch. On our way back home we met Heidi and Holly. Yangyang was so happy, and he held Holly's hand the whole time.
Holly and Heidi babysat for us this evening so we could go out to dinner, and later went for a movie.
Meimei is just adorable, the best little baby in the whole world.
