In a www.businessweek.com article, Charles Freeman, who's father served as President Nixon's translator on his ground-breaking trip to Beijing way back in 1972, and who now heads the China Alliance, a three-year-old firm that is trying to attract Chinese investment, is working hard at tying China and the Rust Belt together. What happens if/when he does?
